Hi everyone. Over the 22 years Dragon Moon has existed, we've often been approached by those wanting to start up their own spiritual shop, asking for advice. Each time, our number one bit of advice is: be your authentic self.

When you bring your own unique energy to your business, you create something new, even if there are hundreds of stores that offer similar products. No one could ever duplicate you, and you are the driving force behind your business. Also - providing a safe and inclusive space for all, no matter how you identify or believe, is a great place to start. Being supportive of the beliefs of everyone, not just what you personally believe, is very important. Spirituality is a never-ending process as we walk through this life, and what we believe will most certainly evolve and change over time. Our approach from day one has always been - be your authentic self and allow others to do the same. 

This can also apply to everything in life, be it your own artwork, crafts, writing, school projects, etc. 

Will you make mistakes and experience hardships along the way? Absolutely. But when you infuse your business with your own unique personality, it will flourish. Sharing your authentic energy with others is what our world needs more of. If you have a deep rooted passion for what you do, you will weather the storms of business life, even with tariffs and other economic struggles looming.

We know today's current economic climate can be very intimidating to new business owners and those who are still in the planning phase of their business. Our advice is simple, but very effective: Know who you are and the reasons why you want to open your business. Have a solid plan. Be your authentic self in business, bring your own unique energy to your shop, and you will always attract the right customers at the right time.
