Best Rate: Available in Canada/USA - A budget shipping method in which we use any of our carriers including Postal Services, UPS, Purolator, Canpar and DHL. If you choose this method, make sure your address is ready for both mail and courier delivery. This method does not always (but usually) include tracking but always includes insurance.
Shipping Discounts: Get Half Priced Shipping with your CAD$90 order (approx USD$75), and Free Shipping with your CAD$180 order (approx USD$149). Some rural areas are limited to discounts of CAD$11.00 and CAD$22.00. This may include rural Maritimes, Territories and Air Stage locations. International locations limited to discounts of CAD$10.00 and CAD$20.00

CANADA: Orders are billed based on a small package to your location - There is no additional charge for additional items! You pay the same shipping on a small order that you would a large order. Shipping starts at $10-$20 depending on where you are. Fully Insured. Tracking guaranteed except on Best Rate orders. Rush shipping available.
USA: Flat rate of CAD$20 (approx US$16.50) to all 50 US States. There is no additional charge for additional items! It is very seldom that any duties and taxes are charged on cross-border shipments. You can change your currency to US Dollars by clicking the flag at the top right of the page. Fully Insured, Tracking guaranteed on all but Best Rate orders. For US Protectorates, It is still flat rate shipping on Postal Orders, but the rate is based on a small package to your area.
INTERNATIONAL: Orders are based on actual size/dimensions once packed. You'll be presented a shipping deposit of CAD$40 - We'll ship it with an economy air shipping method. This could be by Canada Post or by Courier depending on your location. This may or may not have tracking, and a max CAD$100 insurance by default. If you want any of these add-on options, please specify in your order notes:

If shipping exceeds the deposit, or you have requested a quote, we will email you a customized quote just for you. We'll adjust your shipping amount (up or down) depending on the shipping method you choose, refunding any overpayments. Air shipping is usually 2-4 weeks. Small orders, like jewellery, will usually result in a partial refund of your shipping deposit. If you're looking for fast - We still also offer UPS, DHL, Aramex and Canada Post Services. Insurance and Tracking vary by service.

If Something Goes Wrong:
Please contact us for any issues with delivery such as a lost package, damage, or delivery delays. Do not dispose of any packaging if your item is damaged. It is important you do not glue or try to fix damaged items before the claim is complete.
If you order is late - Let us know. There are no guaranteed arrival times due to the ongoing pandemic - but we will help keep watch for you.
Items that show delivered but have not arrived - Let us know right away and we'll start an investigation.
Please note that packages that have been stolen from porches are not covered by insurance. Always have a secure place for your package to be left by the courier, or have someone available to physically receive it when it is delivered.
Please note that in most cases, we CANNOT refund you if packages
that are proven as delivered to your address, go missing. Please keep
this in mind when ordering online. The shop from where you order from is not responsible if packages are stolen off your porch once it has been
successfully delivered. If someone steals it off your porch, this is not
an issue we can resolve. You will need to file a complaint with the mail courier, and/or file a stolen property report
with your local RCMP or Police.
WE ARE A CATALOG SITE: Items at westwindgifts.ca are usually a special order item. Weekly cutoff is Monday night (Midnight EST).
We now ship faster than ever before! With our office in Brampton, ON we
receive items faster and have access to faster shipping methods than we
did previously. Orders for Western Canada (BC, AB, SK, MB, YT, NT, NU), as well as AK and HI, and all International orders are processed in Alberta. All orders
for the USA and Eastern Canada are
processed from Brampton, ON. With better access to carriers from Brampton - We can get your orders to you faster than we did previously to these regions.

- Order by Sunday midnight EST, and your order will ship the following
Wednesday. Most orders for Eastern Canada and the USA will be delivered
within 1-2 weeks. USA orders usually ship by PBX/USPS. Eastern Canadian orders either by Canada Post or UPS. We have faster shipping available on request.
Southern Alberta office - Order by Sunday midnight EST, and your order will ship a week Monday. Orders will ship either by Canada Post or Courier (most often UPS). International orders are all shipped Canada Post unless otherwise specified.
SPECIAL NOTE ON SNOWGLOBES:
While we still guarantee the safe arrival on snowglobes during the winter months - Our guarantee is limited. Snowglobes have the tendency to freeze in transport, which can lead to defects. During the winter months, your guarentee is limited to the purchase amount only and DOES NOT include shipping. Refunds are less the original shipping amount, and returns are subject to a new shipping charge. We inspect all snowglobes before sending them out.
As items are special ordered for you, returns may be subject to a restocking fee to cover costs of sending items back to the vendor. All items must be sent back prepaid. Generally, shipping is not refunded - and shipping is calculated on the full rate, not the Half Price Shipping or Free Shipping. Insurance and tracking is not required but is your responsibility. Please contact us first before sending any items back, and we'll work with you for the best possible outcome. Please let us know the reason for the return. Please do not return damaged items without contacting us first.
