Sugar Skull Hearse
For centuries, indigenous peoples have decorated the resting places of their dearly departed on "The Day of the Dead" with vibrantly adorned sugar skulls in tribute to their loved ones' lives and the memories they hold until they're reunited. Today, this festive sugar skull artistry has made its way into modern home decor as stunning works of art. Now, artist Blake Jensen brings his colourful sugar skull art to the Sugar Skull Hearse Sculpture, a limited-edition tribute that honors those who've come before us, available only from The Hamilton Collection.
Featuring a cheerful skeleton dressed to the nines riding atop a Studebaker hearse, this Day of the Dead collectible sculpture is finely handcrafted and hand-painted from bumper to bumper by Master Artisans with metallic and glossy accents. Hand-applied to all sides of the hearse is the colourful sugar skull artistry of Blake Jensen. Every inch of this hand-painted sculpture is meticulously detailed, from the molded front grille and bumpers to the vehicle's body and whitewall tires. As the final touch, the happy rider wears a festive top hat and holds a golden-coloured lantern to help lead the souls back for a visit.
