And Duke will forever be remembered for his impassioned recording of "The Pledge of Allegiance," created in 1972 and still cherished today. Nearly a foot high, this hand-cast work of art is hand-painted in a rich, bronze-tone finish and features Duke in classic cowboy attire, standing tall before a waving American flag. Most impressive of all, with the flip of a switch, you'll hear his historic recitation of "The Pledge of Allegiance" in his own voice with musical accompaniment! A marbleized base with woodgrain trim and a golden plaque featuring words from this beloved Pledge provide the perfect finishing touches to this patriotic John Wayne collectible sculpture.
