Beginning with Edition One, “Love,” each lantern houses a fully-dimensional, miniature sculpture recreating one of Thomas Kinkade’s classic holiday paintings. The inviting homes from A Holiday Gathering, Victorian Christmas (inside “Peace”) and Victorian Christmas II (inside “Joy”) are meticulously hand-cast and hand-painted in intricate detail, and light up from within at the touch of a switch to create a warm holiday ambiance. But it is the lights in the Christmas Eve sky above each home that truly make these lanterns shine.

Attached to nearly invisible, thin strands of wire, abundant white lights sparkle above each holiday scene inside the panels of the lanterns.
